Course objectives:

At the end of the training the trainee will be able to:

  • Weld different material products using Arc, Gas, may Mig and Tig welding
  • Fabricate metal products
  • Repair welded and fabricated products
  • Market welded products
  • Set up self employment
  • Exhibit interpersonal leadership and teamwork skills
  • Behave in the manner that will prevent spread of HIV/AIDS

This course lasts for two years.

A successful candidate is awarded a certificate in welding and Metal fabrication by the Directorate of Industrial Training (DIT)
